Chen Yun Based in Shanghai, Chen is the publisher of 51 Personae, an independent art publishing initiative exploring Asia and Third World histories. She executed the West Heavens program (2010-2019) to facilitate exchanges between China and India, curated Dinghaiqiao, Art Practice into History, and founded the Dinghaiqiao Mutual Aid Society. Part of the 11th Shanghai Biennale curatorial team, she explains the complexities of censorship for independent publishing on page 10.
