Alessandro Cinque

Alessandro Cinque Based in Peru, Italian photojournalist Alessandro focuses on documenting environmental and socio-political challenges in Latin America, particularly the impact of mining on Indigenous lands. His work, capturing environmental contamination and public health risks, has been published in The New York Times Magazine, National Geographic, The Guardian, and more. Cinque is a 2023 winner of the World Press Photo, the Sustainability Award at the Sony World Photography Awards, and multiple Pictures of the Year International (POYi) honours.
