Nicolò Filippo Rosso Italian documentary photographer Nicolò regularly travels across Latin America to capture stories of war, conflict, and climate change. His work has earned him several awards, including the World Press Photo, Leica Oscar Barnack, W. Eugene Smith Memorial Award for Humanistic Photography, and multiple Pictures of the Year International (POYi) honours. He regularly contributes to Bloomberg, TIME, and the United Nations Refugee Agency. In Blood & Sand on page 30, he documents the struggles of the Wayuu people in Colombia, focusing on the impacts of desertification, coal exploitation, and child mortality.
